Presentation 1
Good morning, everyone. In my seminar presentation today, I’m going to talk about the poetry of Philip Larkin. Basically, I’ve divided my talk into three parts. In the first part, I’ll look at Larkin’s first collection of poems, The North Ship. Next, I’ll focus on what was probably his most famous book, The Whitsun Weddings. And finally, in part 3, I’ll tell you about his last published anthology, High Windows.

Presentation 2
Right, for the next 30 minutes or so, I’d like to tell you about one of my favourite British writers, Jane Austen. In the first half of my presentation, I’ll look at Austen’s upbringing and some of the things that may have had an influence on her writing. Then, I’ll move on to talk specifically about one of her most famous works, Pride and Prejudice.

For the next twenty minutes or so I’m going to look at some of the different effects of global warming. Basically, I’ve divided my presentation into three parts. In the first part I’ll talk about the melting glaciers and the way that these are contributing to rising sea levels. Then, in the second part, I’ll look at climate change and give you some examples of how this is having a serious impact on wild animals’ behaviour and habitat. And in the final part, I’ll focus on the retreating snowlines and consider how these are causing the death of certain species of trees.
